Nuno Espirito said: “I think we’ve been able to do well. The situations in the press and the rumours and the expecations, we cannot control.
“We’ve been able to deal pretty well with the situations on creating the shields that protect us realising that it’s something that we cannot control.
“I think we have to keep insisting and make it stronger but nothing can affect our relationship [with Kane], nothing.”
He then spoke about the upcoming match: “It’s a good team, very intense and competitive. Good players. We expect a tough match on Sunday.”
“We did the recovery with the players that were on the pitch yesterday. We did a good training session today and we are preparing for the match against Watford.
“But Joe [Rodon] is not with us in the group, he still has problems, and Cameron [Carter-Vickers] is the same.
