Norwich City are hoping to put their woeful start to the Premier League season behind them when Leicester visit Carrow Road on Saturday.
The Canaries could not have asked for a tougher start after winning promotion from the Championship last season, opening the new campaign with heavy defeats to Liverpool and Manchester City.
They’re propping up the table after two games, and will need to pull off an upset against Brendan Rodgers’ Foxes if they are to head into the international break without already being written off for the season again.
Leicester beat Wolves 1-0 on the opening day, but were thrashed 4-1 by West Ham on Monday in a sorry showing at the London Stadium.

Fellow arrival from the Saints Jannik Vestergaard is still struggling with a knee problem though and will not play. Jonny Evans is expected to miss out too, while Ayoze Perez begins his three-game suspension after being sent off in the loss at West Ham.

Norwich vs Leicester head-to-head record
The Canaries and the Foxes are pretty evenly matched across the 58 games they’ve played against one another.
Leicester have 23 wins compared to Norwich’s 22, while there have been 13 draws. Their most recent meetings came in the 2019/20 Premier League season, with Daniel Farke’s side escaping the King Power Stadium with a 1-1 draw before beating Rodgers’ men 1-0 just prior to the pandemic.
Norwich vs Leicester prediction
While Norwich have been given the runaround by nearly every Premier League team under Farke’s management, they do seem to have Leicester’s number.
The Canaries won’t have expected to get much from their opening two games, but they did show signs of life against Liverpool before falling behind. If they can start fast and really get at a Leicester side showing vulnerability after their defeat at West Ham, they may just head into the international break with some points on the board.
Prediction: Norwich 1-1 Leicester
