Thomas Tuchel in high spirit to welcome PSG striker to Chelsea in January

Thomas Tuchel will be delighted to sign the Paris Saint-Germain striker Mauro Icardi to strengthen Chelsea attacking option in January
Premier League rivals Arsenal are also reportedly interested in signing the Argentine forward.
The 28-year-old could leave Parc des Princes in January amid a lack of regular playing time, and has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.
He has made 15 appearances for Mauricio Pochettino’s side during the 2021-22 campaign but has only found the back of the net on three occasions, with the majority of his outings coming off the bench.
Icardi is yet to start a Champions League match this term, while he has featured from the start on just six occasions in Ligue 1, with the Argentine down the pecking order at PSG.
The striker started brightly after three goals in five games but his off-field drama with wife Wanda Nara has proved detrimental to his performances and he has not scored since.
