Just In: Veteran Nollywood actor Johnson is dead

Death has again been recorded in the Nollywood Movie industry as they lost a veteran actor, Jimmy Johnson better known as ‘Okoro’ in the now rested sitcom,The Village Headmaster. The actor died at the age of 80 years.

The late veteran actor was known for his exceptional display of talent and for his role as Okoro in the Village Headmaster,a well known TV series in the 80s.He was reportedly said to have died after a brief illness due to old age related sickness.

The Nollywood industry has lost many movie veterans and award winning producer this year. They include Yoruba movie comic actor and producer, Kayode Odumosu popularly known as Pa Kasumu, Yomi Obileye, Popular Nollywood star,Alkali Matthew popularly known as Dareng, Nollywood actor, Ukwak Asuquo, popularly known for his role as Boniface in ‘The Village Headmaster TV show,Ogun Majek and many others.

May their souls continue to rest in peace and May God put a stop to the wind of deaths in the Nollywood Industry.
