Chelsea are wasting no time in bringing in Hakim Ziyech after he officially became a Blues player at the start of July and he has already got a pal in first team training
Hakim Ziyech looks like he has already struck up a bromance after training with Chelsea’s first team.
The Morocco international is the first signing under Frank Lampard, with the deal being pulled off in February.
But with the coronavirus crisis hitting, it has meant that the playmaker has joined midway through the season.
There is no way the former Ajax star can play any role in matches this campaign.
However, that has not stopped him striking up relationships with his new team-mates.
And one in the shape of Reece James has got fans dreaming up a blossoming partnership next season.
In a video uploaded onto Chelsea’s official Instagram, it showed Ziyech getting stuck into training.
One fan commented: “Ziyech and james getting along so well.”
And another predicted: “Making plans to smash the right flank next season.”
Meanwhile, Ziyech has admitted that playing under Lampard was a huge factor in his decision to join the Blues.
“When you are a young guy, you always want to play for a big club, in the Premier League of course,” he told ChelseaTV.
“I can remember I was playing in the youths in Heerenveen and we have some teammates, and he was playing [with] Drogba, Lampard, just all those big names, Terry.
“We were always for Chelsea and look now, if you can play here, it means a lot for me.”
