Two key players confirm ruled out of Chelsea squad

Injuries are always sad news to a team and especially if the sidelined players are part of the first team. Chelsea is one of the teams that are being affected by the injuries this season. The Chelsea’s right back Reece James has been out of the field since his last game on 29th December last year when he played against Brighton at Stamford Bridge.

James was forced to leave the game and the team doctored said that he had torn his hamstring.

Since then, he had missed a number of games meaning now the blues were to rely on another right back- Azpilicueta. However, today, according to The Athletic, James is on the verge of returning back to the squad and this will be a booster to Tuchel’s team.

James has been put through individual training as he aims at improving on his fitness and the clubs coaches are targeting his total fitness and group training in less than two weeks.

This would mean that the 22 year old will be available in Chelsea’s first leg match of UEFA round 16 against Lille and the Carabao final against Liverpool.

This would be a good news to Tuchel and the Chelsea’s fans as well. All cannot wait to see the right back get back to action.
