Wife of Temitope Balogun Joshua, senior pastor of the Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN) has reacted to her husband ‘sudden’ death.
Evelyn Joshua said, “Losing a loved one is never easy; whether sudden or foreseen. It is always heart-breaking. Grief can wreak havoc on our overall well-being. That’s why it’s important to stay rooted to the Almighty. Only He can lessen our heartache and comfort us in these times. Seek refuge in him.”
Nigerian prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua members gathered at the Synagogue Church of All Nations [SCOAN] headquarters for Lagos to mourn his death.
Prophet TB Joshua died on Saturday 5 June, 2021 has spark different reactions from Nigerians about the cause of the influential evangelist death.
The Synagogue Church confirmed that the preacher died on Sunday, but do not give the cause of his sudden death.
The church confirm from their statement says:
“Prophet TB Joshua leave legacy of service and sacrifice to God Kingdom we will continue to live on for generations yet unborn.
Worshippers, beneficiaries and people that live around the church gather there and weep over the death of Late TB Joshua.
“Dat man na better man of God. I never see im kain pastor before wey dey help pipo wey no dey even attend im church,” Saidat wey be muslim tell BBC.
Nkiru, one of di mourners tok say “I go miss am. I no know how we go take do for di church as our prophet no dey again.”

President Buhari reacts to TB Joshua death
President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted and pay condolence to the family of prophet TB Joshua.
The condolence message was signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, on Sunday.
Buhari noted that Joshua will be missed “not only for his spiritual contributions but for touching many lives through philanthropic gestures.”
He also urged the cleric’s followers “to take solace in the knowledge that life is not measured and defined by chronological longevity but by enduring legacies and lives touched positively.”
Former President Goodluck Jonathan reacts to TB Joshua death
Former president of Nigeria Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has reacted and mourn the death of pastor/ prophet TB Joshua.
The former President stated: “I am saddened to hear about the death of Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua known as TB Joshua, the Spiritual Leader of Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), at a young age of 57.
“TB Joshua was a devout man of God who served God and humanity with relentless passion. He was a man of sound doctrine, meek and faithful to his call and passion of reconciling men to God and offering hope to humanity.
“As a Christian leader, TB Joshua and his Ministry exemplified Christ in faith, love and charity; positively impacting the lives of many Nigerians, Africans and millions of people across the world.
“I condole with his family, his church and millions of his followers across the world. May God grant them peace and strength to cope with this loss.”
