Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich funds Marina Granovskaia transfer deal for PSG high-rated wonderkid

BREAKING: Chelsea finally announce first January signing of talented player

Without much doubts, Chelsea football club will most definitely be aiming towards winning some more trophies under the management of Thomas Tuchel before the end of the ongoing 2021/2022 season.

The West London club were one of the few active Premier League clubs during the summer as they made some signings in order to rival the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool for the League title this season.

However, that is quite working out well for Chelsea so far as they are currently occupying the 3rd position on the Premier League table ahead of their next league match against Brighton on Tuesday night.

But now, Chelsea have shifted their focus towards signing some more players during the January transfer window and have been linked with a move for Paris Saint-Germain young forward Ismael Gharbi.

The 17-year-old France International, who has been with Paris Saint-Germain since 2016 has been an important member of the youth team squad over the previous seasons.

The highly-rated attacking midfielder has enjoyed a brilliant start to the 2021/2022 season where he scored one goal in the seven matches he has played for Paris Saint-Germain so far.

But then, Ismael Gharbi has less than six months left on his current contract with Paris Saint-Germain and due to his refusal to sign a new contract, he could now be planning to leave the club.

And according to reports from The Sun, Premier League side Chelsea are interested in signing Ismael Gharbi as they aim towards improving their academy.

The reports further claimed that the Blues are really interested in bringing Ismael Gharbi to England and are leading the race to sign him from the Ligue 1 club.

That said, it remains to be seen if Ismael Gharbi will have a change of mind and sign a new contract at Paris Saint-Germain or he will be keen on leave the club as a free agent when his contract expires in the summer.
