Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing Adrien Rabiot from Juventus to strengthen the midfield option after their humiliating 5-2 defeat by West Brom on Saturday.
In his column for TuttoMercatoWeb, journalist Niccolo Ceccarini claimed that Chelsea are keeping an eye on the 26-year-old midfielder.
Ceccarini stated that Juventus need to carry out ‘some important sales’ of their players to raise funds to strengthen their team in the summer.
The Frenchman has appeared 36 times in all competitions for the Italian giants this season and has scored three goals and picked up two assists.
During the international break, Rabiot also expressed how he enjoyed playing with Blues midfielder N’Golo Kante.
‘He works a lot and never stops,’ Rabiot told reporters. ‘It’s easy to be next to him on the pitch.
‘I feel good in the middle. I know I can move to the left, but it depends on our opponents and the type of game.’
