Edouard Mendy, Chelsea and Senegalese goalkeeper, feels he would have been included in the 30-man Ballon d’or shortlist if he played for France.
Mendy is one of the best goalkeepers in the premier league now as he felt concerned about the missed out of the Ballon d’Or 2021 nominees.
The Senegalese is the first African to play in the UEFA Champions League final since 1985.
According to the Chelsea’s goalie, if he had played for France and had taken part in the Euro, he would have been recognised for the prestigious individual award.
Mendy’s name was missing in the 30-man nominees for the Ballon d’Or 2021 football awards which he felt that he would have made the list if he play for France.
