Chelsea board set to complete signing of triple world-class players

BREAKING: Chelsea finally announce first January signing of talented player

All your latest Chelsea transfer news with key updates on Robert Lewandowski, Eden Hazard and Ousmane Dembele

Here are all your Chelsea headlines on Thursday, January 20.

Robert Lewandowski transfer opportunity

Chelsea could potentially pull off a great transfer for Bundesliga legend Robert Lewandowski who could leave in the summer if his situation doesn’t change.

Romelu Lukaku’s explosive interview could spell some change in the frontline and if the Belgian is to be granted his exit wish come the end of the season, the Blues will once again be back in the market for a new number 9.

And who better to sign than Bayern Munich’s record goalscorer Lewandowski who recently won the FIFA best player for 2021 at the recent The Best awards in Zurich.

According to Bild, the 33-year-old could be sold by the Bavarians in June if he doesn’t renew his contract.

Eden Hazard makes Chelsea transfer decision

Real Madrid flop and Chelsea club legend Eden Hazard doesn’t view a return to west London this month as an ‘option’ despite rejecting a recent proposal from Newcastle United.

This is according to Spanish outlet Marca who has titled their latest update on the situation ‘Hazard prefers to wait’ when translated to English.

The report goes on to add that he doesn’t have too many ‘proposals’ on the table to ponder with.

Marca wrote: “His performance has declined since that fatal kick from Meunier and, despite constant rumours, he is not an option for Chelsea, with whom he has a very close relationship. Nor for the new Newcastle, which is looking for another profile to try to save the category.

“And, of course, the attacker’s high salary does not make it easy for him to fit into a hypothetical destination.”
