CAR 0-2 NGA: Balogun, Osimhen score as Nigeria beats Central African Republic 2-0

Super Eagles came out of their shell to defeated Wild Beats of Central African Republic 2-0 to revenge their 1-0 lost in Lagos on Thursday evening.
There was no repeat of CAR’s heroics in Lagos today as Nigeria carved out a comfortable 2-0 win to get their qualification campaign back on track. That’s three wins from four now for Gernot Rohr’s Super Eagles and they now have a five-point cushion in Group C with Cape Verde and Liberia playing later today.
Leon Balogun and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen scored as Super Eagles of Nigeria (Africa three times Champions) beat Central African Republic away from home in their 2022 World Cup qualifiers on Sunday.
Winning for Nigeria today take them to 9 points in the Qatar 2022 World Cup qualifiers Group C, as Cape Verde and Liberia playing later today.
