Mykhailo Mudryk has failed to nail down a starting spot at Chelsea this season.
On the left, Enzo Maresca has preferred Jadon Sancho over Mykhailo Mudryk, while Pedro Neto has also played there.
As a result, Mudryk has only been able to start one game in the Premier League this season, which came against Wolverhampton Wanderers back in August.
Since then, Chelsea have been linked with Jamie Gittens. Signing the Borussia Dortmund winger would surely spell the end of the Ukrainian’s career in west London.

Chelsea’s Mykhailo Mudryk stance
There have now been rumours about Mudryk potentially leaving Chelsea in the January transfer window.
However, despite that and the links with Gittens, journalist Ben Jacobs has ruled out the winger departing Stamford Bridge next month.
According to Jacobs, Mudryk is not available for loan or purchase and there is “no chance” of him leaving Chelsea halfway through the season.
While Mudryk has not been able to make an impact in the Premier League, he has at least been given an opportunity to shine in the Conference League. In the four games that the 23-year-old has played, he has managed to score three goals.
Chelsea’s stance could leave quite a few clubs disappointed, including a couple from the Premier League.
According to CaughtOffside, Newcastle United and Crystal Palace are both interested in signing Mudryk, who is currently earning £100,000 a week at Stamford Bridge (via Spotrac).
The same outlet claims that Barcelona are also keen on the Ukraine international, but it does not look like he will be going anywhere in January.
Having to compete against the likes of Sancho and Neto for a place in the Chelsea team, though, you cannot really see Mudryk’s situation improving.
