Former Chelsea defender, Frank Leboeuf, has expressed his concerns over the club’s move to sign Samuel Omorodion from Atletico Madrid.
Chelsea are reportedly on the verge of signing Omorodion this summer, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The Premier League west London club have struck an agreement of £34.5 million with Atletico Madrid over the transfer of the 22-year-old striker.
Speaking on the development, Leboeuf told ESPN:
“I have to Google him. So I went to Google, got the video of him, see him playing for the reserve team of Atleti, playing for the U21 with Spain not knowing who the guy is, 34/40m?
“Where do you want to go with that I am sorry and again maybe I will be surprised but it is too many players with the same profile with no experiences and it is very worrying for me.”
