Chelsea star to joins Real Madrid

Premier League giants Chelsea are very open to selling some of their players as they look to cut down a first-team squad that is made up of more than 40 players.

The Blues have been very active in the ongoing summer transfer window. They have made some key signings this summer and recently secured the signature of Samu Omorodion from Atlético Madrid.

However, while it seems their incoming deals are over, the Blues still have a lot to do in terms of departures. Conor Gallagher is close to being announced an Atletico player, while the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Trevoh Chalobah could still leave.

However, their young right-back Josh Acheampong is reportedly wanted by Real Madrid in a deal that could see the West London side pocket around €15m from his sale - as revealed by Daily Mail.

According to reports, Madrid holds the youngster in high regards and wants to add him to their squad ahead of the new season. However, the Spanish giants will have to see off Paris Saint-Germain as the French side are also interested in signing the 18-year-old defender.

Acheampong made his senior debut in May as a substitute in the closing minutes of a home win over Tottenham and could be making more appearances for the Blues this season after showing a lot of promise.

Madrid and PSG view him as a capable deputy for first-choice options Dani Carvajal and Achraf Hakimi, respectively.
