Good News to Chelsea ahead of Derby Game Against Arsenal

One of the many reasons that I truly detest international breaks during a domestic season is that risk of injury and fatigue increase.

Cole Palmer

And when you support a club like Chelsea, who are for some reason constantly at the top of the list of players out injured, you do not need these extra games and concerns of injury, especially whilst we are at this crucial stage of the season and finally starting to win some matches.

A big part of the fortune turnaround has been the impact of Cole Palmer, who has been superb so far.

Palmer played for England U21s last night and we were all hoping that him and Noni Madueke would come through unscathed. Madueke was fine, but Palmer went off injured. Shock.

Thankfully, according to U21s boss Lee Carsley, it doesn’t seem to be serious for Palmer and it looks to be just an impact dead leg. We hope for the best once again!

Carsley: “It’s a dead leg”.
