Chelsea to make offer for Serie A goal machine

Chelsea’s interest in a striker is the one area we haven’t stopped hearing about since the transfer window closed.

Whether it’s Victor Osimhen or Ivan Toney, the links keep coming, and we’re buying it. Nicolas Jackson and Armando Broja have looked good in the last couple of games, but neither is yet a top tier centre forward, and given the lack of goals in this team, you’d imagine that was a hole that the sporting directors want to fill.

One player who we have yet to see mentioned is one of the stories of the season – Stuttgart striker Serhou Guirassy has 14 goals in 8 games in all competitions, and has truly exploded onto the scene.

But according to Fabrizio Romano’s Daily Briefing, there is not yet any interest in the forward from Chelsea or from Arsenal, our main rivals when it comes to trying to strengthen up top in the winter.

We don’t expect that to last however – if he keeps scoring, he will become impossible to ignore.
