3 Chelsea Stars Pictured Back In Training In Major Boost For Pochettino Ahead Of Arsenal Game

The Senegalese international had a minor operation on his wrist during the international break but he appears to have made a speedy recovery after taking a full part in training on Monday.

There is also positive news on the fitness of both Axel Disasi and Armando Broja heading into the game at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson has been pictured back out on the grass at Cobham suggesting he will be available to face Arsenal this weekend.

Disasi was given a call-up by France last week but it quickly emerged that he would not be available for international duty.

The defender has been seen with strapping on his thigh in recent games and it is thought that he agitated an existing injury in the 4-1 win over Burnley.

After a scan, the French Football Federation (FFF) confirmed that Disasi had torn a muscle, which has put his participation against Arsenal in jeopardy. He has, however, been back in the gym training on an exercise bike. Whether that means there is a chance of him being ready to play this weekend, we shall have to wait and see.

Armando Broja was sent back home by Albania, suggesting that he had also sustained an injury of some kind. Considering how long the striker had been out for, that would have been a major blow but those concerns were eased when, like Disasi, he was pictured in the gym.

Which Chelsea players will be fit to play against Arsenal?

From the looks of things, Jackson will be available for selection, and there is confidence that Reece James and Benoit Badiashile will be ready for action too, having returned to contact training before the international break.

Things are more touch and go with Cole Palmer due to a dead leg he sustained whilst away with England’s Under 21s. He did not play against Ukraine on Monday night as a precaution.
